Court Clash is no longer only a QR code scan. Here is what the app lets you do on the court today.

Invite someone to join — Every player has an invite link. When a friend signs up, you each receive a badge and points.

More ways to play — A ranked game goes through the QR code and a score confirmed by both players. You can also start a friendly game, have the score refereed, or play someone who does not have an account yet.

Your watch joins the game — After the game, import the session from your watch: duration, heart rate and calories. On iPhone it comes through Apple Health. On Android, through Health Connect. You can also link a Garmin account. The score is still entered in the app, then confirmed by both players.

Leagues — A league has its ranking, categories and seasons. League points rank the members. A league game is played on a league court and also moves overall Elo. Between the same two players, only one league game counts per month.

Tournaments — Pools or a bracket. Tournament games count toward Elo. Some tournaments are reserved for Court Clash+ members.

Sponsored courts — On a sponsored court, a prize is up for grabs for a limited time. The ranking adds up ranking points earned on that court, not the number of wins. It is also separate from king of the court. Beating a higher-ranked player is worth more. Some challenges are reserved for Court Clash+.

Prestige — Wins on a playground raise your level: visitor, regular, king, then legend.

Court Clash+ — The app stays usable without a subscription: 3 competitive games per week, and the last 30 games in your history. Court Clash+ is a yearly subscription, with a 7-day trial when one is offered. It unlocks classic, league and guest games with no weekly cap, the full history, advanced stats, reserved tournaments and partner deals.

Courts and news — The map shows courts around you, with check-in, messages and king of the court. Home also shows a basketball news feed in your language.
